Welcome
***Click Here for Update on Brad***
Wow! What a month this has been. We have been a very, very busy family.
First and foremost - Without the help of Gary and Kimberly Parker, and Amy Reynolds; I am not sure I would have any sanity left !! Gary is the kids photographer, Kimberly their media advocate, and Amy their web designer. All three wear invisible halos and wings and are my guardian angels whom I didn’t even know were out there watching over us. God Bless them all.
I am Christy, mom of Bridgette and Brad. We have been to London, Los Angeles, and Amersterdam within the last month (along with keeping up with work, sports and high school). Our family did a documentary regarding primordial dwarfism recently. It is being aired in all three of these countries now. We were blessed to go to each country to introduce the documentary and educate the community about their dwarfism. Bri and Brad actually have Osteodysplastics Primordial Dwarfism Type II(MOPD II).
Our family has went through both good and bad times but always together. Bri and Brad are quite social teenagers. This seems to be their strength. I as their mom have tried to help them build on this. Early on they realized their bodies were quite different than everyone else. They have an older sister, Brandi, and two cousins, Chastity and Brittany, all of average size, that made me realize that they needed treated just like any other kid. They always kept me in check with that task. I thank them for helping Bri and Brad achieve but accept even though they were little that it didn’t mean that they got everything handed to them. There are many obstacles in their daily living that they needed to adapt to. Some of these things were and continue to be quite frustrating for them but overall they have accepted their looks and differences and try their best to make the best of things. They both have a great self image. I believe this is the key to success for everyone. I hope that we can share with the world their past, present and future. I hope that this will help many families not just dwarf families to deal with what sometimes seems unbearable.
Welcome to our little primordial world. Please come back often and see what is happening in their lives. I thank you for coming to our site.
I JUST WANTED TO TAKE A MOMENT OUT OF OUR CRAZY LIFE TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE UPDATE. BRAD HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A BRAIN ANEURYSM AND MOYAMOYA (EXTRA VESSELS IN HIS BRAIN). HE WILL BE HAVING THREE SURGERIES THIS MONTH IN CALIFORNIA. WE LIVE IN ILLINOIS BUT THE BEST SURGEON WHO IS VERY DEDICATED TO OUR DWARFISM FAMILY WILL BE PERFORMING HIS SURGERY. WE ARE DEVASTATED AS A FAMILY RIGHT NOW. BRAD IS SOOOO ACTIVE THAT IT IS DRIVING HIM NUTS NOT BEING ABLE TO DO AS HE ALWAYS DOES. FINANCIALLY THIS IS A HUGE COST. TRAVEL AND ACCOMADATIONS FOR A MONTH AWAY FROM HOME IS UNBELIEVABLE. BRIDGETTE WILL ALSO BE UNDERGOING SOME ADDITIONAL TESTING WHILE IN CALIFORNIA. SHE DOES NOT HAVE THE ANEURYSM BUT SOME NARROWING IN HER BRAIN CIRCULATION THAT MUST BE EVALUATED. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOU CAN DONATE TO BRADLEY THERE IS AN ACCOUNT SET UP AT US BANK AND DEPOSITS CAN BE MADE AT ANY BRANCH IN THE US. THE ACCOUNT IS THE “BRADLEY JORDAN FUND” THERE IS ALSO A LINK ON OUR WEBSITE HERE TO DONATE. PLEASE KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS AND THROUGH GODS HANDS THIS SURGERY AND BRADS RECOVERY WILL BE SUCCESSFUL.
CHRISTY

This is cool I have the same name as you Bridgette & it’s spelt the same way. My boyfriend watched ‘The Smallest People in the World last night’ and told me about how interesting the special was. I ahve been looking on the internet to find the show, but had no luck. I did however, see different clips & such about primordial dwarves. I think it’s good because a lot of people are uneducated about the different types of dwarfism. I admire the both of you, Brad and Bridge.
Thanks,
Bridgette
Hello Christy, Bri and Brad,
I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I watched the documentry last night on TLC. I thought the show was amazing, Bri and Brad you both are amazing. You truly touched my heart. I had never heard of primordial dwarfism before until I saw the documentry. If everyone in this world was as positive and as happy as you two, the world would be a better place. I wish you all the best of luck!
u guys r sooooo cool i want Hannah 2 be my best friend 4 ever im ten too hannah im smart 2
Bri, Brad, and Christy,
I just saw your special on TLC and just wanted to say how moved I was. The positive attitude you all have been able to maintain is beautiful. God Bless you all and from one Illini to another, Brad if you want to coach Illinois Basketball, GO FOR IT!!!
Jason
hey i luv your show i watch it all the time coz im really touched in the heart lotsa luv call me auntie fee feeXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I am not being tight but I dont like it when people make fun of primordial dwarfs because it isnt fair I mean people wouldnt like it if they were laughed at or they were stared at if I were a primordial dwarf id make a stand to all of this I would be confident and say that we should not have to suffer just because we are tiny we should speak up TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hi! i was one of the students you guys saw today. you guys are wonderful. I definately enjoyed seeing you. (Bri, your shirt was the cutest) You guys completely amaze me. I could never do that flip, Brad.
The farthest I’ve gone is a cartwheel. I’m so glad you are involved in so many things. I play volleyball and basketball. My sister is on the pom-pon squad. (kinda clost to cheerleading) I hope you guys had fun!
with love,
Bailey
you may be small but God uses you in a big way =)
I live in Tennesee
I really enjoyed watching the documentary.
We watched it at our highschool.
your kids really touched my heart as i believe they have touched many others.
keep the optimisim going in yalls life.
Your a really good parent for staying strong through everything.
=)
I was watching the TLC show “The Smallest People…” and found that Bri’s attitude was really inspiring to me. Though I am not a dwarf, I have had some severe health problems growing up. I have arthritis, but depending on the Doctor you talk to it is either Psoriatic or Rheumatoid. I also have a mild form of Scoliosis. I was also diagnosed with a exceedingly rare form of tissue cancer on my foot. Bri’s acceptance of her dwarfism taught me that if I wanted to be happy I had to find it myself rather then look to others so solving it for me. If she can accept and be happy with her physically difficulties, then so can I. I would like to thank her for showing her beautiful spirit to me. She is a hero to me.
we are small too we like small people.
Hi, Jordan and Bri my name is Kristina and I am 11 years old. I saw your show and want to help, I thought I could make you clothes that fit. What do you think
Hey, I’m another one who saw the documentary ‘The World’s Smallest Kids’ a few days ago over here in the UK. I’ve never cried before at a film or television programme but all the kids featured were so amazing that it was overwhelming and I couldn’t help it. You were all so inspirational, and if only more people followed such an approach to life that you all did.
Obviously those affected will know I can’t possibly understand them or their lives. But you’ve touched me and changed me for the better, and I hope you all find your lives touched with as much happiness as possible.
Hey we were watching ur show last night! You guys are were lucky to be on t.v!! We turned to the show and we watched the rest of the show!!! Well when Taylor got asked out we were so excited for her!! We wanted to see what she said but the show was over! But it was fun learning about you guys! Well we gotta go now so see ya later!!!!
Again I just want to say hi, and would like to say again that Brad, Bri, and all of your family are doing great things to help the world realize what’s going on (I said agai because I wasn’t sure if my last comment actually was sent). I was also wondering if Taylor Marcello had a contact that I could send a comment/e-mail to? Thanks for putting up a site that raises awareness about this. I just found out recently and it changed my views on the world.

Hey there!
I’m Ryan from Singapore! Just today, the Tyra Banks show featured you guys and my mom and I caught it, and we felt that you guys are really strong!
Albeit the episode aired a little bit (okay, very) late here in Singapore, I felt very inspired by your whole family and EVERYONE that was present!
Before, I never knew anything about primordial dwarves and I’m really glad I’ve learnt something new today
I also saw the docie about you guys in South Africa. (But please dont ask me on what channel!). As I was watching this I felt very angry at all the people staring at you guys. Myself have got Tourettes and knows how it feels to get the stares.
But that been said nice website. And does Brad do gymnastics?
Enjoy and heck kick the hell out of life!
Recato
Hi Guys,
Just saw a documentary on one of our TV channels here in South Africa. Your family is very inspirational. We always seem to think our challenges are great until we are humbled. Good luck to all you all and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Neil Slater - for the Slater family in South Africa
Thinking of you all… Lots of love from Australia.
Hey Bradley, I had no idea you would be my most famous Trumpet player. I am looking for that other horn, but no luck so far. Take the good one home tomorrow if I don’t locate the other. See you tomorrow.
Hi Christy, Bri and Brad:

Hi
I am from kenya,a country in Africa and i got to know about your children through the tyra news letter.I was so intrigued that i immediately started finding out more about primordial dwarfism and that was how i got to know about your little one’s website.
My heart goes out to you,Bridgette and Brad due to all you have to face every day but at the same time, all this will just make you stronger than you can ever imagine.
Keep up the good work,i would have never known that a condition like this even existed if it weren’t for your courage to go out there and talk about it.Say hi to Brid and Brad. We(me and my friends)love them and support them.
Hey there! A documentary on MOPD II was shown on Belgian TV tonight, my eyes were glued to the television. There are no words that can describe what I feel after having seen how you guys live your lives. Your positive thinking and happy vibes have inspired me and i will never forget about you! Thank you for letting us get a glimpse of your lives… Greetings from Belgium x
Hi! I’m from the Philippines. I am 16 years old. I watched the Tyra Show last Monday. I was amazed with all the accomplishments of your children. You are lucky to have them and they are lucky to have you as their mother. Sometimes, I feel life is to hard for me. But when I saw your children I was inspired. They can do anything!
Take Care!!
God bless!!
Do you have to travel to go to the doctor?
Bri,
sorry this is about 3 months too late but I have had experiences with little kids getting in my room. A way to keep them out is to always stay by them or put your important stuff in a baggie somewhere where you can reach, but the baby cant seem to get up there. Bri, you have also inspired me so much!
Wow where has summer went. We have had a quite busy summer. Brad and Bri enjoyed the LPA conference in Seattle. Brad is on the countdown for his summer camp with LP’s. Bri is sick so it has been a long week and makes a mom nervous about leaving her while I take Brad to camp. Hopefully, by Monday she will feel better. The new documentary on National Geographics is airing now. I hear it is good. Unfortunately, I missed the first air date. Thanks for all the kind words and support everyone has given us. It is much appreciated.
Christy
Hi i’m Bianca i’m 15 years old and live in illinios. two nights ago i was up late and anxious to watch my favorite t.v show that i previously recorded. but when i turned the t.v on. the discovery health channel appeared. I thought that it was going to be one of my dad’s stupid, boring health shows. but before i changed the channel, on came a little girl named Bri. when i read down below i saw that Bri was 16 and only 2′3 and 16 lbs. i immediately sat down and my eyes were glued to the t.v. i couldnt help but feel sorry for this girl. but as i watched more i saw that she was brave, couragous, and strong. She did anything that any other 16 year old girl would do, like deal with PMS, school, friends, and life in general. Bri instantly came an inspiration to me. She deals with life better than anybody i know. she lives it well and happy. When she told the host that she wanted to have kids one day i burst into tears. i thought wow this girl can do anything she sets her mind to. and no one is going to stop her. Knowing that there still are people in this world who fight for want they want in a good way. and deal with the consequences makes me want to make a difference, and live life freely. Thank you for your kids being such a great inspiration.
Last night I watched a Discovery Health show “The Smallest People in the World”. I was amazed at how these children actually handle themselves when it comes to the outside world. Bridgette and Brad and the others should be commended for putting up those who don’t know any better.
It really upset me when they talked about being normal. They have to come to realize in Gods eye they are normal. He would have never put them on the face of this earth if he did not think they could handle themselves.
Who is anyone to say these children are not normal? Who are we to judge anyone when we ourselves have quirks that are not normal?
All children, no matter what they may have different from each other are normal.
I just think these children are GREAT!
Hello to All,
I recently watched the documentary on primordial dwarfism on TLC, and I must say how inspiring it was to see such strength and such love. Thank you for allowing the average public viewer like myself a glimpse into your lives, to hear your message, and to experience your struggles and your strengths. I am sure it was no easy task to decide to allow strangers into your personal lives… so I for one would like to thank you for allowing me to “meet you” in this way. It truly made me stop and think about how resilient we all are and how our instincts as parents and as human beings truly outweigh and conquer the nay-sayers of our everyday lives. You are all such strong souls, as we ALL should aspire to be, regardless of our hardships. Thank you for reminding me of this truth, as I often forget it myself.
God Bless you all, and I truly wish you all the very best! Especially Brad and Bri… you both brought a smile to my face on a day when I was feeling especially bad about myself and was lacking the strength to face the day. Much love to you both…
Love Always,
Christine
Thanks so much christy for replying. I hope bri and brad and well and healthy!
Lots of love claudette x
Dear Christy, Bridgette and Bradley,
I loved it, I’m glad I saw the show.. I called all my friends to say that they should watch it too and I got great comments from them, they all thought you were very inspiring!
I just saw you on tv, the talkshow you did in Holland (Jensen) and I just wanted to say that all three of you are the greatest people I’ve ever seen and the most positive… That is so fantastic! You can make people feel so good
Just wanted to tell you that! Lots of love from Holland!!
Hi! i’m watching the show you were on, Jensen (right now) because I live in holland, and I looked it op on internet to get a little more information, and I came uppon this site, and I thought well I will just leave a message.

Good Afternoon,
Sorry it has been a while since we have written. We just got back from Brad’s National Tumbling Meet in Daytona Florida. He did great we are so proud. Answer to a few question:
Gary Parkers pictures should be on very soon. The proofs are picked through and they are choosing which to use for the site.
Yes Brad and Bri do use a car seat most of the time. Legally they probably don’t have to. However, it does help in seeing out the windows.
I would love to come to Scotland and share our story. All we need is the invite from a station.
Brad and Bri will write soon hopefully before we go to the LPA Conference.
Thanks to all,
Christy
Bri and Brad,
You two are amazing! It’s incredible that you are able to overcome the obstacles that you face because of your small stature. And you both seem so very upbeat about life; that is inspiring. So many people complain all the time about little things that bother them, but you two (and all the other people in the documentary I watched) are so positive about life! It’s uplifting. I hope you are doing well, and thank you so much for sharing your stories with the world.
Heather

Hey Christy, Bri and Brad! I know you’ve heard this before, but it’s true, You guys are really inspirational! Christy you had mentioned a while back that you did another documentary for TLC (was it?)…when will that air? Also, I was wondering how Jenna’s surgery went? I hope all is well with her and everyone in the PD family. Hey, so Bri, did you hear of, or ever get to meet the Indian boy (from Nepal) who is 15 years old and 20 inches tall? I wonder if he has the same kind of PD you guys have. Wouldnt it be so cool to meet him? He’s actually shorter than you! Bet you you havent met anyone like that that can walk and talk! He’d be a great dance partner for you! So hey, Brad and Bri, how’d that dance go that Tyra talked about? Hope you guys had a blast! By the way, did you (Christy or you guys) know that someone has a clip of that Tyra show up on YouTube? I wasnt sure how “legal” it is to advertise it here so I wont, but I can show you where it is if you want to see it. Let me know. Anyway, hope you guys are doing well and have a great rest of the Memorial Day Weekend! Eat some burgers for me!

Bri and Brad:
You didnn’t think your Aunt Jane would be able to figure this out did you?? I am so proud of you both–you are such a good role model for all of us. Your smiles are a treasure. You need to get your mom to bring me the Tyra tape. Bri, I left some clothes at Meme’s that Stacey sent down. You might want to look at them before Bali and Lexi does. Also, be sure and plant some corn with your tomatoes as Aunt Jane like fresh corn on the cob with the tomatoes. Be sure and do your homework and remember to READ everynight before you to to bed. Practice makes perfect!
Love
Aunt Jane
Hi everyone,
It has been a good week. Brad competed this weekend at his USTA IL State meet. He did well. Some trouble with his double mini pass for the rules have changed midseason for him. Brad as usual is trying his best to overcome this obstacle. Bri and Brad had a wonderful photo shoot with the Parker’s and new photo’s are coming soon. We are planning our trip to the LPA National Convention. Can someone lower airfare for a day? (haha) Our dog is really sick so it has been a rough few days for all of us with that. The kids dad Scott took her to the vet today for us for we all were at school and work. She has to go back and be admitted to the doggie hospital tomorrow if things aren’t better. Chas kept all four babies 3 and under today for the first time. She tried to get Bri to skip school and help her. Bri knew that was not going to be an easy day and chose school. Bri is at church and Brad now at cheer and tumbling so I better catch up on mom’s job thats never done.
Thanks for all the supporting messages we have received. It is so touching how caring people are.
Please remember our friend Jenna Tillman. She was on the Tyra show with us and will have brain surgery next week. Keep her in your prayers.
Tx to all,
Christy

Hello world!!
It is so great to have the kind hearted comments of encouragement for our family. The Tyra show was great. We did miss it in our area due to the unfortunate events at Virginia Tech. My heart goes out to the families of everyone involved. My daughter, Brandi, is also a college student. She attends a smaller private university and until this she also felt safe at school. This horrible event really made the students think about what would their campus do if something like this should happen there. I like most parents am an Alumini of her University and was thrilled that she followed the tradition. I cannot begin to imagine the grief and sadness on the campus. To all the families: We are sorry for your loss and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
I would like to say we had a great weekend here. Gary and Kimberly Parker spent the weekend with us. It was fun packed two days. When Gary says the only rule is that we have fun he means it. The purpose of the visit was for a photo shoot so we can update pictures on the site. However, Brad and Gary, spent a lot of time being “boys”. Whoever came up with the saying “boys will be boys” must have known them. Bri found the way to Gary’s attention by cooking for us Sunday. The utensils may be oversized but with a little help the girl can cook.
Kaleb, Lexi and Baili spent the afternoon with us Saturday too. Gary and Kimberly pointed out how grown up they seemed for their ages. It is amazing how they try to model Brad and Bri at such an early age. Even Lexi, at 9 months doesn’t go for their glasses, Bri’s trach or try to push them around. We hadn’t really noticed but when pointed out from an outsider is was a “wow” moment.
I spoke last evening with a grandma of a newly diagnosed primordial. She has a different class of PD but we still welcome her aboard and can’t wait to see them at convention.
Got to go and do all those things we put off all weekend!

Hi! How are you?
Hi Bri, Brad, and Christy. I saw the interview of you all on Dutch TV. You all did such a great job. I would have been so nervous in a situation like that. Did you guys get to meet Mika? That guy has an incredible voice. Hope you all had a great Easter!
-Brad
Hey Bri, Hope you are feeling better. I know you didn’t want to go home. You try so hard not to miss school but sometimes we just have to. You are the only kid i know that loves school. You are inspiration to so many. I love you like you were my very own. You get some rest and you will feel better. Trust me. Luv ya,
Ms. Altom
I saw your show on tlc and it was amazing. Your condition must be difficult to deal with but you are very strong and very brave to show your document to the world.
write back…

Hi!
I can’t wait till it gets warm so I can go golfing. It is freezing here. I have had a good spring break and am not ready to go back to school. I bought two jumpropes today and wish we had a jumprope team. We saw a competition team when we were in Michigan. It is cool.
Can’t wait to go to camp!!!!! I really miss Nick! We run up the cell phone bills all the time! (thats what mom says) Dad won’t get Bri and I a cell phone cause he says we call all over the world! I’m going to keep working on him though!!
Better go and practice jumping!
Brad
Bri, I know you are here this weekend but lets keep everyone updated,LOL The tomato plants are taken care of, and its still too early and wet to till up the ground yet. you will have to talk to your mom about how big you can make your garden. The cell phone is still under discussion. also so far it has been a great weekend for us. Bradley had a cheer meet today and did a great job as well as the rest of his squad. congrats to them all. we went shopping too. the golf outlet and walmart. not sure bri cared to much about being with a couple of guys that were drooling over every new product in the golf store,LOL I think she had a good time though. well gotta go. love ya all
Bri and Brad,
Just wanted to say thanks for making a difficult week for me much easier to handle! Thanks for stopping by my room and giving me those sweet smiles and encouraging hugs, and for letting me know you were thinking about me while I was gone to be with my mom while she was having surgery. The two of you are such a blessing and joy every day - and Bri, spending Friday with you was the PERFECT way to end the week, and we were able to get so much accomplished too - you should be so PROUD of the way you worked!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your dad, and can’t wait to see you both on Monday!
Ms. Farmer
Hey guys, I missed you on Friday. I was not feeling very well. I just wanted to let you know just how much I love being able to be with both of everyday at school. You two make it not even a job for me but like home. I love you both like you were my own kids. I don’t know what I will do next year when I have to student teach and won’t be with you. Lose my mind—I know Bri I do that all the time anyway but you are what keeps me sane through the day. I luv ya. I will see you on Monday.
My boyfriend and I watched you all on TV. You guys are amazing! I give you (Christy) a ton of respect-and even more so to your amazing children who seem to be better off than most of the people I know. Make sure you all keep your chins held high-you should all be proud of who you are!!
Bri~

Good Afternoon!
We arrived safely home from Michigan. We had our visit with Dr. Reidy our dental specialist. Checkups for both Bri and Brad went well. Bri had some adjustments to her bottom dentures made and Brad’s were great. Denture care and oral and gum care were perfect!! Good job Brad and Bri! We will be returning next month for a visit with our oral surgeon for formal implant evals on both kids. How exciting. Unfortunately we did not get to visit with the Riley family for they had the “flu” there. Hope you feel better Cinda. We did see Jessalyn another LP at the dentist. Dr. Reidy was given them his much trusted dental advice to her parents. I am so excited about the emails I have received from parents in other countries whom are walking through life with MOPD II kids alone. I hope to be a great asset for them and look forward to meeting them. Conference in Seattle will be great. Hats off to Little People of America for sponsoring and organizing this great annual event. Brad and Bri also attended a college gymnastic competition between Michigan State and North Carolina. Our friends daughter competed for NC and did an outstanding job. Congrats RACHEL Brad was very inspired by you hard work and achievements. Brad and Bri spent last evening with their great friend Kenzi. They were so tired from the trip but we still wanted to do supper with them. The support of our community and friends is unbelievable.
Hi Bri & Brad! Did you have fun in Michigan? Hope so….Brad you will have to come over and play with Tito!(puppy) Well have a good rest of the weekend. Love you both LOTS XOXOX Chas

Hello Christy….First I want to start out by saying I have seen Bri and Brad alot in the Salem parade….They are so talented….I also watched to documentary on TLC and have decided they are such awesome young adults….but I was wondering something…..Where is their father? Is he in their lives? I hope I am not getting to personal….. but not much is ever said about him.. I really hope to hear from you soon and can’t wait to learn more about them.
Thanks,
Emily

Hi,
Just got your message - Thank you !!
I watched your interview on the dutch show. I thought the guy was alittle careless in his comments. I think its great that you have done the shows though to get that awareness out there. I watched Bridgette & Brad last year and at that time i didn’t have any contact with anyone with a child with M.O.P.D now i have contact with mostly all the mums now. I make it our mission to be at the meeting in June 2007 it will be great for tyler is meet other children with same big hearts as he does.
Nicola (Tylers Mum)
Please stay in contact
We would really love to get to know you all
